Afterthoughts DSMA Live ‘Rents | Christopher Angell

On January 10, 2013 by Lorraine

Christopher AngelThis past Monday we had a ton of fun with Christopher Angell on our show. I remember Christopher back in the day when he was blogging at Don’t Fear Diabetes. I enjoyed his insight, discipline, healthy eating and MacGyver skills.

Christopher is the Founder and CEO of GlucoLift All-Natural Glucose Tablets. On the show, he shared with us his diagnosis (and misdiagnosis) story. He explained how he got started in the glucose tablet business, and we had some laughs chatting about how he got his family involved in flavor selection.

I think you’ll hear very quickly Christopher’s devotion to both his mom and dad – a definite family man.

If you’re enrolled in ROI’s southern California camp, look for Christopher. He will be a ski coach. He’ll also be at Friends for Life again this summer.

And what’s all this talk about deep-friend Twinkies?

Christopher was kind enough to share a discount code with all our listeners. It’s good for the month of January 2013 on www.buyglucolift.com for 10% off orders of $25 or more. CODE: DSMARENT

Thanks to Scott Johnson for calling in. If you are interested in the post we reference in the show it’s at: Scott’s Diabetes. It is a sobering, but important post. I’m so glad you are safe, Scott and there were people around you to help.

Thanks to Lora for hanging out with us in the chatroom throughout the show!

Some news items we mentioned:

Check out Team Novo Nordisk and Lee Ann Thill’s VIAL Project.

Please join us on January 21st with our guest Alexis Newell!

Go to Blog Talk Radio or iTunes to listen to the live show.

Bennet here. Thought some photos from the Indiana State fair, including the deep fried Twinkie were in order.
