After Thoughts: Tony Rose

Tony Rose & his two daughters

I think life is all about relationships.  Tonight, George, Cherise, and I had a chance to build on a relationship with Tony that started years ago.  Knowing him for what feels like forever, it was great to finally talk to the guy!

During the show, George talked about how comfortable it is when meeting someone from the diabetes online community.  It’s as if the connection of life with diabetes, combined with a little bit of online interaction, builds bridges that are stronger than what might seem normal.  While a radio interview is a far cry from meeting in person, I totally felt that connection with Tony.

We could have easily filled up another 60 minutes talking, and hopefully we’ll have another opportunity in the near future.  In the meantime, to get more of Tony, check out his website, Blogging Diabetes, and his Blogging Diabetes Podcast.  Tony also collaborates on Eat Clean, Stay Fit, a resource all about trying to maintain a lifestyle of clean eating and staying fit.
