Quick announcement from Scott – I wanted to share this news about free tuition during January at Type 1 University!

Press Release from Gary Scheiner, Author of “Think Like a Pancreas” and Dean at Type 1 University:

If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to take better care of your diabetes, listen up!  During the month of January, 2012, all “live” classes at Type-1 University (www.type1university.com) are completely free.  Learn how to make better use of your pump, carb count like a pro, prevent lows, utilize a continuous glucose monitor, or take off unwanted pounds while using insulin.  Classes are held on Tuesday evenings and Thursday afternoons, EST.  The full curriculum and course schedule can be found at www.type1university.com.

The webinar-style courses are approximately one hour in length and include a pdf copy of the presentation slides and chances to post questions for the instructor.   Pre-registration is required, and space is limited, so enroll today!

Type-1 University is an online school for people with diabetes who use insulin, as well as parents and caregivers.  The T1U faculty is composed of Certified Diabetes Educators with extensive personal and professional experience with all aspects of intensive diabetes management.  T1U is produced by Integrated Diabetes Services LLC (www.integrateddiabetes.com), a Wynnewood, PA-based practice providing diabetes education, management and consulting services worldwide via phone and the internet.
