Another fun show!  I know I say that every time, but I mean it!

It was a lot of fun listening to Allison tell us all about her early advocacy activities.  She calls herself a “digital native” and as such she has been involved with things diabetes related online and off almost as long as she can remember.

She was instrumental in some sites that I remember from way back, such as CureNow (her first website), Diabetes Station, and Diabetes Teen Talk.

We talked a bit about coping with the emotional side of life with diabetes, and what life was like before all of this online “stuff” was around.  It was a very enjoyable conversation, and well worth a listen.
